Main problem of cancer from air polution

However, air pollution is not the only the main concern. Smoking is no stranger of ours. People have smoked for years and are continuing to engage in new smoking habits, regarding what health professionals say about the health effects due directly from smoking. Studies have shown that with the health of catchy advertisements and better education on the topic, smoking rates have decreased over the years. The National Cancer Institute released a statement saying the following: ” Tobacco is a major success story. The proportion of the U.S. population that smoke has been going down for several decades…” They go on to say ” there is still room for improvement, but we can look with some pride at our success in the tobacco arena. Studies from the state that in 2007, ninety percent of lung cancer deaths were caused by tobacco. If the number of smokers decreases, so should the number of lung cancer deaths.
